I’ve known Steve Stewart since the late 80?s when he carved his first sculpture. Steve learned the basics of carving ice, honed his skills, developed his own style, and soon excelled locally providing artistic work throughout the Louisville area. Steve has made presentations to my culinary students at Sullivan University offering advice, expertise, and sharing his secrets of technique. As evidenced by his past work of intricate logos, actual size ice bars, and abstract sculptures Steve has become the leader in our area. His innovative use of embedded colored sands, hand engraving, laminating ice blocks and lettering demonstrate his state of the art ability.
